Its database record adds Yardi and Entrata sync, and its site shows Greystar, Harbor Group and Axiom as clients. In the [parking management guide](/property-management-software/parking-management/) it sits between the property-paid platforms and the free permit vendors, because it has the PMS sync of the first group and the enforcement-partner economics of the second. ## Who it fits The database tags institutional multifamily and HOA communities, the latter on the strength of a condo visitor-parking guide on its site. The buyer is a community where guest parking is the fight. ApartmentPermits’ own article describes the lot: the same vehicles use visitor parking every week, residents use guest spaces for additional cars, paper permits are copied or moved between vehicles, staff cannot confirm when a permit was issued, residents dispute warnings and tows, and the leasing office spends too much time approving permits. A manager who recognizes four of those six sentences is the buyer. It fits less well where the property wants to sell spaces. Paid parking is on the feature list, but the product is built around limits and enforcement rather than marketplaces and dynamic pricing. ## Pricing ApartmentPermits does not publish pricing. Ask whether the property pays a subscription, whether the enforcement invoicing module means the tow and boot partner pays instead, or both. Ask the per-community rate, the term, whether LPR cameras are a separate purchase, and what a resident is charged for paid parking where it is enabled. The invoicing module is the unusual part, so ask exactly who invoices whom for a tow and where the money goes. ## Integrations The database lists Yardi and Entrata, sourced from the guest-parking article, which names them for move-in, move-out and transfer sync. The site also says it supports importing data from all major property management or parking systems, which is a broader claim than a sync and should be tested with your system by name. Rentable items in those systems bill for an assigned space; they do not enforce a guest limit or flag a misread plate, which is the job ApartmentPermits takes on. ## Limitations and questions to ask The enforcement workflow is the product’s strongest feature and its most important demo. Violations route through a contract-manager approval, and SafePlate flags plate-read errors before a car is towed. Ask who the contract manager is at your property, how long approval takes at night, and what happens to a flagged read. Ask what the audit trail shows when a resident disputes a tow, because that dispute is the reason the workflow exists. Guest limits are the second question. Ask what the configurable limits are in practice: passes per unit per month, hours per pass, and whether repeat plates can be capped. Ask whether a resident can register a guest from a phone without the office. The towing partner is the third. Every vendor in the category depends on one.
