Knock is a RealPage-owned leasing CRM with an AI leasing agent that works leads across chat, text, email and voice, lets prospects self-schedule tours, and lets staff tag in and out of AI conversations. Its site sells the pieces as Knock CRM, Knockbot, Knock Now, Knock Tours and Knock Mobile. In the [guide to AI leasing assistants for multifamily operators](/property-management-software/ai-leasing-assistants/), Knock sits with the CRM-native vendors, and its ownership makes it the in-house leasing AI for anyone running RealPage.

## Who it fits

The database tags institutional multifamily only. Knock’s case studies on its own site run from Scott Management at 4,380 units through Flournoy at 5,200 to Edgewood and Vantage at 30,000, which is the range the category’s buyer occupies. Its homepage promises to keep prospects from falling through the cracks, and its AI page says the agent always answers, stays on top of every lead and always quotes the right price.

The fit question is the PMS. A RealPage operator evaluating this category should demo Knock first, because it is the answer the PMS vendor built and the integration question mostly answers itself. An operator on Yardi, Entrata or anything else has a harder question, covered below, and should not assume Knock connects to its system until Knock says which connector and how.

Knock is a CRM, so buying the agent means buying the CRM. An operator that likes its current CRM and wants an agent on top is not the buyer.

## Pricing

Pricing is not published. Ask for the CRM cost and the AI agent cost as separate lines, the per-unit rate, the monthly minimum, whether voice is priced separately, and the contract term. A RealPage operator should also ask whether Knock is priced inside an existing RealPage agreement or as its own contract, and what changes at renewal.

## Integrations

The database lists no PMS for Knock. None of the pages we fetched names one; the integrations page refers to partnership APIs and PMS integrations and points to RealPage’s developer portal. Read that as the RealPage connection being assumed and everything else being a question. Ask Knock which non-RealPage systems it connects to, whether each connection is bidirectional, and how often it pulls availability and pricing, because the promise to always quote the right price depends on the cadence of that pull. The [RealPage integrations page](/property-management-software/integrations/realpage/) lists the other vendors that connect to that system and is the context for what Knock’s ownership does and does not settle.

Other vendors in this category name Knock as a connection. Respage lists it among the systems its assistant integrates with, and Hyly.AI lists it alongside RealPage and Entrata. So Knock’s CRM can sit under another vendor’s agent, which is worth asking Knock about if you already run one.

## Limitations and questions to ask

Start with self-scheduling. Knock’s site says 48 percent of prospects self-schedule tours. Ask to watch the agent book against a real calendar in the demo, what happens when the calendar is full, and whether a no-show gets worked again.

Then handoff. Knock’s model is that staff tag in and out of AI conversations. Ask what the prospect sees when the voice changes, whether two staff can tag into the same thread, whether the AI resumes on its own when a human goes quiet, and how the AI is paused for one prospect who has asked for a person.

Then fair housing. Bring an accessibility question, an assistance-animal request phrased as a pet rent question, and a source-of-income question, and watch what Knockbot does with each. The category guide covers the April 2026 Multifamily Dive argument that a deflected accessibility question is the operator’s exposure regardless of the vendor. Ask what Knock escalates, to whom, how fast on a weekend, and what the contract says about indemnity.

Then the record. Ask where the conversation lives, whether it writes to the guest card in Knock and through to the PMS, and what you keep if you leave RealPage.

## Alternatives

The [category vendor list](/property-management-software/ai-leasing-assistants/vendors/) compares all seven. The direct alternatives are the other CRM-native vendors: [Funnel](/vendors/funnel/), which names four PMS connectors including Yardi and RealPage on its own integrations page, and [Anyone Home](/vendors/anyone-home/), which adds a human contact center to the AI. An operator that wants to keep its CRM should look at EliseAI, BetterBot or Hyly.AI instead.
