It is an ASSA ABLOY Group company based in Sacramento; its about page dates the company to 2013, out of a laundry-locker business started in 2005, and puts the ASSA ABLOY acquisition in 2019 and the cumulative count at 400 million packages delivered as of 2024. With Parcel Pending by Quadient it is one of the two names a multifamily buyer hears first in the [package management category](/property-management-software/package-management/), and its support FAQ is the most useful buyer document any vendor in the category publishes. The facts panel below is rendered from our vendor database with a source URL and verification date on each entry. ## Who it fits The database tags institutional multifamily, student housing and commercial facilities. Its multifamily page frames the problem as 12,000 packages a year per community and two or more hours a day of office time, so the buyer is a community of a size that produces that volume. Its product names map the range. Luxer Room is the automated package room, Luxer Liaison is the on-site concierge, and Flex Locker is the temporary expansion for peak periods. A student-housing operator facing move-in week is the buyer that last product was built for. It does not tag small multifamily, and its PMS list is the institutional three. A manager on AppFolio or Buildium should read the [Smiota](/vendors/smiota/) profile first. ## Integrations The database lists Yardi, Entrata and RealPage, sourced from the multifamily page, which also names ConciergePlus, Greystar and Secure FTP alongside them. The Secure FTP mention is the useful one, because it tells you the fallback for any system not on the list is a file feed rather than a live connector. Ask whether your PMS gets a direct connection or the feed, how often the feed runs, and how a new resident gets into the locker system between the feed runs. Ask separately what the on-site concierge costs, since Luxer Liaison is a staffed service and will not price like a locker bank. Ask whether Flex Locker capacity is rented by the week or the season and what the minimum is. Ask who pays storage fees past the pick-up window, because the FAQ’s vacation hold, which stops fees accruing while a resident is away, implies that fees do accrue otherwise. ## Limitations and questions to ask The FAQ answers the oversize question honestly, and the answer is the limitation. Packages that do not fit end up outside the locker area, at the leasing office, or back at the carrier’s facility. Ask what share of your deliveries the vendor expects to be oversize, whether a Luxer Room is in the quote, and what the office does with an oversize parcel on a day the room is full. The homepage claim of solving 100 percent of the package problem is marketing, and the FAQ’s oversize answer is the place to test it. Ask for the procedure, in writing, for the packages that do not fit. Carrier access is the second question. The FAQ says Luxer One can configure an existing call box so carriers reach the locker or room without a key. Ask who maintains that configuration when the intercom vendor pushes an update, and what the carrier does when the box fails. Notifications are the third; ask how a resident is enrolled, how they are told a package has arrived, and what the office sees when a notification bounces. ## Alternatives The [package management vendor list](/property-management-software/package-management/vendors/) compares all eight vendors in the category with the same facts.
