The company also sells a retail pickup product and asset-tracking systems, and its product page counts more than 7 million packages delivered through the room. It is the vendor in the [package management category](/property-management-software/package-management/) for a buyer who has decided against lockers, because lockers have a fixed size and a room does not. The product fits a community that already has a room it can give over to packages, or is building one, and whose oversize and peak-season volume makes a locker bank a poor fit. A student tower at move-in, where the parcels are large and the surge is short, is the case the open-room model argues best. Ask about theft from inside the room, where any resident with a code can enter, and what the vendor’s liability is when a logged package goes missing. Ask what the room does during a network outage, how residents collect when the scanner is down, and how long footage is kept. Peak season is a capacity question for a room as it is for lockers.
