It is sold as Zego by Global Payments, and buyers who have been around a while know it as PayLease. The record tags it for institutional multifamily, HOA communities and student housing, and its integration list is one of the two longest in the category: Yardi, MRI, Rent Manager, ResMan, Entrata and RealPage. This profile covers what the record says, who it fits, what to ask, and where it stands in the [resident benefits platforms category](/property-management-software/resident-benefits-platforms/). ## Who it fits Zego fits an operator that wants payments and the resident app from one vendor and wants credit reporting as the reason for residents to pay in the app. That is a multifamily buyer, and the segment tags say so. It is also the only vendor in the category tagged for HOA communities and for student housing, so an association manager or a student housing operator who searches this category will find one name on the list. It fits less well for the SFR or small multifamily manager, for two reasons. The package is not the resident-paid bundle of filters, master policy and pest that the category name means in those segments; those buyers are looking at [Second Nature](/vendors/second-nature/), [Latchel](/vendors/latchel/) or [Beagle](/vendors/beagle/). And the PMS list, long as it is, leaves off AppFolio, Buildium, Propertyware and Rentvine. It also fits less well for an operator that already has payments covered and wants only a rewards or reporting program, which is where [Paylode](/vendors/paylode/), [Piñata](/vendors/pinata/) and [CredHub](/vendors/credhub/) sit. ## Pricing Pricing is not published in the record. Ask for the per-unit and minimum figures for the package, and ask separately for the payments pricing, since a payments layer carries transaction economics that a perks program does not. Ask what the resident pays, if anything, and what the operator pays, and whether the credit-reporting incentive is priced inside the package or on its own. ## Integrations The record confirms Yardi, MRI, Rent Manager, ResMan, Entrata and RealPage from Zego’s own package page. That is the institutional list plus Rent Manager. Ask which are live for your version and what the integration writes back, because a payments layer that does not post to the ledger correctly is the problem a resident benefits package is supposed to remove. Ask whether credit reporting is positive-only or full-spectrum, whether it applies to a resident who pays outside the app, and how a resident declines. Ask what the app does beyond payments. Ask how the package is described in the lease and on the resident’s statement, since legal will ask you. For a student housing operator, ask how the package handles a unit with four leases and four payers.
