Basics and categories
Claim and verify your listing if you haven't. Use the correct, consistent business name (no keyword stuffing). Set your primary category to the one that best matches your main offering; add secondary categories where they fit. Fill every relevant attribute (hours, accessibility, payment methods, etc.)—they affect both trust and ranking. Ensure NAP (name, address, phone) matches your website and every other directory; inconsistency hurts.

Content and media
Services and products: Add a clear list of what you offer. Use the language your customers use when they search. Photos: Real photos of your location, team, and work outperform stock. Ongoing maintenance
Update hours for holidays and special cases. Refresh photos when you have new work or team changes. Post at least weekly if you can. Monitor and respond to new reviews and Q&A.
