Fifty runs, one per prompt on each engine: ChatGPT from its app on 27 October 2026, Claude through the Anthropic API on 31 October. ChargePoint was named in 65% of runs, SWTCH Energy in 59% and EverCharge in 48%. Epic Charging was named in 60% of Claude's runs and none of ChatGPT's. Ten of ChatGPT's 25 answers brought up Michigan, mostly utility rebates from DTE or Consumers Energy: the app passes an approximate location to the model, and these runs were captured from Michigan. One run per prompt per engine; read it as a first reading.
