Postal Solutions manages mail and package programs for apartment and student housing communities. Its on-site program places a package manager on site three to six days a week who receives, sorts by unit, logs the chain of custody and notifies residents by text and email. It also runs daily USPS mail and package management for student housing with live-operator resident support around the clock, and it sells Luxer One lockers as a Luxer One Premier Partner since 2016, with more than 1,200 systems delivered. The company has operated since 2000, is based in Orlando, and says it serves more than 120,000 mail recipients in over 50 U.S. markets. Its fixmypackages.com address redirects to the same site. In the package management guide it is the labor option in a category mostly made of hardware, and the facts panel below is rendered from our vendor database with a source and verification date on each entry.
Who it fits
The database tags institutional multifamily, student housing and HOA communities. The package room page lists conventional garden, mid-rise and high-rise apartments, student housing, HOA and condo properties, new lease-ups, and properties that already have lockers. That last group is the interesting one. Postal Solutions does not ask you to rip out the hardware; it works alongside Luxer One, Parcel Pending, Package Concierge, Position Imaging’s Smart Package Room, Snaile, Amazon Hub, Quadient and other lockers or smart rooms. The buyer is a property whose lockers are full by noon, whose office staff spend the afternoon on boxes, and whose residents complain anyway.
Student housing gets its own mail service on the site, and the package program lists surge capacity for holidays, move-in and Prime Day, which is when a locker bank sized for an average week runs out of doors.
It fits less well at a small property with a light package load, where the lockers keep up on their own.
Pricing
Pricing is not published. The site offers a tailored proposal and a free site assessment. Its package room page claims a typical 250-unit community recovers 16 to 30 leasing office hours a week, and it offers a calculator for the labor cost of handling packages yourself. Treat both as the vendor’s numbers and run your own.
Ask how the fee is built: per unit, per staffed day, or a flat monthly fee. Ask the difference between three and six days of coverage. Ask whether there is a resident fee, and if so, who sets it and who keeps it. Ask what surge coverage in December costs. If you are also buying Luxer One lockers through them, ask for the locker price and the service price separately so you can compare each.
Integrations
The record names no PMS. Ask how the package manager knows who lives in which unit: a roster you send, a PMS export, or the locker system’s own resident list. Ask how move-outs are handled and what happens to a package for a resident who left. Ask whether their logging system and your locker’s software share a resident list, or whether staff maintain two.
Limitations and questions to ask
Staffing is the product, so ask about the staff. Who employs the package manager, how are they screened, and who covers when they are sick? Ask whether they wear a uniform, carry insurance, and what liability Postal Solutions takes for a lost or stolen package.
Ask about hours. The package room is staffed on set days, so ask what the pickup hours are and how a resident gets a package at 10 p.m.
Ask how oversized, refrigerated and freight items are handled, since the service lists all three.
Ask for weekly audit reports and what they show.
Alternatives
The package management vendor list compares each vendor with the same facts. HelloPackage automates the package room with courier check-in and no staff. Luxer One, whose lockers Postal Solutions resells, covers lockers, rooms and its own concierge. Amazon Hub Apartment Locker is a locker with no staff at all. The page on Luxer One’s competitors lists the rest.
