Hyly.AI is a multifamily marketing-automation and AI platform whose Hayley agent handles prospect chat and email, runs automated follow-up campaigns and re-engages drop-offs from first touch to lease. Its site names the agent Hayley Agentic AI, the data layer Halo Data Fabric, and the attribution product CrSTAL, and older customers may know it by hyBlast, the legacy email product. Among the vendors in the category guide to AI leasing assistants, Hyly.AI is the standalone agent that arrived from the marketing side rather than the CRM or the call center, and that origin shapes what it is good at and what to ask.

Who it fits

The database tags institutional multifamily only. Hyly.AI’s homepage claims one million or more units and 8.7 million or more autonomous renter engagements, which are the vendor’s counts and describe an operator with enough lead volume that campaigns and attribution matter as much as the first reply. Its homepage asks whether you are still losing prospects to disconnected tools, and the answer it sells is one data layer under the agent, the campaigns and the reporting.

The fit is an operator that keeps its leasing CRM and PMS, already runs lead nurture campaigns by email, and wants the agent, the drip and the attribution in one place. An operator whose main problem is the phone ringing unanswered at 9 p.m. should read the voice question below before booking the demo. An operator replacing its CRM should look at Funnel, Knock or Anyone Home instead, since Hyly.AI is not one.

Pricing

Pricing is not published. Ask for the per-unit rate, the monthly minimum, whether Hayley is priced separately from the campaign and attribution products, whether SMS or voice carry their own line, and the contract term. Ask whether a legacy hyBlast contract converts or is repriced. Price it at your unit count and at the count after next year’s acquisitions.

Integrations

The database lists RealPage, Entrata and Yardi, sourced from Hyly.AI’s homepage, which also names Knock, Engrain, Tour24, Zumper, Apartments.com and Apartment List. So the connections run in three directions: the PMS for availability and pricing, Knock for the CRM under a RealPage operator, and the listing sites for the inquiries that start the journey. Ask how often Hayley pulls availability and pricing from each PMS and what it quotes between pulls. The Entrata integrations page lists the other vendors on that system.

No AppFolio, Rent Manager, ResMan or MRI appears on the page we fetched. An operator on any of those should ask before the demo.

Limitations and questions to ask

Start with channels. Hyly.AI’s homepage describes Hayley handling prospect chat and email. SMS and voice are where the vendor lists in this category diverge, and the page we fetched does not describe phone handling. Ask directly whether Hayley answers inbound calls and texts, or whether the answer is a partner, and what that partner costs.

Then follow-up. The re-engagement campaigns are Hyly.AI’s argument. Ask for the cadence in writing, what stops it, whether a prospect who books a tour then no-shows gets worked again, and how the campaign logic changes when a human has taken the thread.

Then handoff. Ask who owns the conversation after a leasing agent takes it, whether Hayley resumes when the agent goes quiet, whether the AI can be paused per prospect, and what the prospect sees when the voice changes.

Then fair housing. Bring an accessibility question, an assistance-animal request phrased as a pet question, and a source-of-income question. The category guide covers the April 2026 Multifamily Dive argument that a deflected accessibility question is the operator’s exposure. Ask what Hayley escalates, to whom, how fast on a weekend, and what the contract says about indemnity.

Then attribution. CrSTAL is the product that tells you which source produced the lease. Ask how it handles a prospect who arrived from Apartments.com, chatted with Hayley, and then called the office, because the vendor selling attribution has an interest in where the credit lands.

Alternatives

The category vendor list compares all seven. The closest standalone alternatives are EliseAI, which covers voice and extends into resident and maintenance conversations, and BetterBot, which lists five PMS connectors and describes phone handling and a shared handoff dashboard.

AI visibility

The AI Shortlist Index will measure this category when a prompt set is approved, and until then this profile carries no number.
