EliseAI is an AI platform that answers prospects by voice, SMS, email and web chat, schedules tours and follows up on leads, and then keeps going past the lease into resident, maintenance and renewal conversations. Its own site sells the pieces under the names LeasingAI, VoiceAI, ResidentAI and EliseCRM, and its platform page adds delinquency communication and escalation to a human when needed. Of the seven vendors in the category guide to AI leasing assistants, EliseAI has the widest scope; the others stop at the signed lease, or close to it.

Who it fits

The database tags institutional multifamily and nothing else. EliseAI’s homepage says 700 of the top property management companies use it, and its Equity Residential case study claims 1.5 million interactions a year, 90 percent of prospect workflows automated and 14 million dollars in payroll savings. Those are the vendor’s numbers about one very large customer. They describe the buyer, an operator with enough centralized leasing and resident volume that automating most of it pays for a platform. A manager with 200 units and one leasing office is not that buyer and should look at the vendors in this category that sell down-market.

EliseAI is a standalone agent rather than a CRM, so it fits an operator that likes its current leasing CRM and wants the assistant bolted on. It also fits an operator whose problem extends past leasing. If the phones that go unanswered are maintenance and renewal calls as much as prospect calls, the resident side of the platform is the reason to demo EliseAI before a leasing-only agent.

Pricing

Pricing is not published. Ask for the per-unit rate, the monthly minimum, whether voice is priced separately from text and email, whether the resident and maintenance modules are priced separately from leasing, and the contract term. Price it at your unit count and at the count after next year’s acquisitions, because per-unit pricing rewards the vendor for your growth.

Integrations

The database lists Rent Manager and ResMan, sourced from EliseAI’s integrations page. That page also names Funnel CRM, Zillow Rentals AI Assist, Bluemoon, Engrain, Tour24, Peek, Realync and PERQ. The platform page says the product syncs with leading PMS and CRMs without naming them, so a Yardi, RealPage or Entrata operator should ask EliseAI for the specific connector, whether it is bidirectional, and how often it pulls availability and pricing. The Rent Manager integrations page lists the other vendors that connect to that system.

The Funnel CRM connection is worth a sentence. Funnel ships its own assistant inside its CRM, so an operator running EliseAI on top of Funnel has two agents that could answer the same prospect. Ask both vendors who owns the prospect record in that configuration.

Limitations and questions to ask

Start with the PMS. Two named systems among the ten we track is the shortest integration list among the standalone agents in this category, and the gap between “syncs with leading PMS” and a named connector is the first thing to close in a demo.

Then handoff. EliseAI’s platform page promises escalation when needed. Ask what needed means, who receives the escalation on a Saturday, whether the AI resumes when the human goes quiet, and what the prospect sees when the voice changes. Ask to watch a handoff live rather than hear it described.

Then fair housing. Bring an accessibility question, an assistance-animal request phrased as a pet rent question, and a source-of-income question, and watch what the assistant does with each. The April 2026 Multifamily Dive opinion piece that the category guide discusses argues that a deflected accessibility question is the operator’s exposure, not the vendor’s. Ask what EliseAI’s contract says about indemnity and then ask your own counsel whether it means anything.

Then scope. A platform that also handles maintenance and delinquency touches more of the resident record. Ask where each conversation lives, whether it writes back to the guest card and the ledger in your PMS or only to EliseCRM, and what you keep if you leave.

Alternatives

The full vendor list for the category compares all seven side by side. The closest standalone alternatives are BetterBot, which lists five PMS connectors and is built around the handoff, and Hyly.AI, which comes at leasing from marketing automation and attribution. If the CRM is the thing being replaced, Funnel, Knock and Anyone Home fold the assistant into the switch.
